NEW PRESS AT VINCENT GRAPHICS GIVES IMAGE BOOST TO BUSINESSES
Dublin, OH – December 4, 2002 -- Vincent Graphics LLC.
In today’s marketplace, all businesses need high quality, individualized
printed materials to communicate their image and offerings. Not all businesses,
however, have been able to afford what they want. To meet their needs,
Vincent Graphics LLC, a Dublin, Ohio, full-service printing and fulfillment
center, has installed the Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 six-color press with
an in-line coating tower.
"We’re in the image boosting business," says Ty Vincent,
President and CEO. "All of our customers need their printed materials
to help them put their best foot forward. Their image is very important.
A state-of-the-art system like the Speedmaster 74 makes it possible for
all businesses to create very high quality, full-color materials in small
or large quantities at a very reasonable cost."
The Heidelberg CPTronic digital control system is the heart and brains
of the Speedmaster 74. A centrally located digital console controls and
continuously monitors the press via a vast array of strategically located
sensors. All printing functions are automatically activated at the right
moment with computerized entries and preselections. Expensive and time-consuming
manual tasks, such as plate mounting, wash-up, and sheet and quality control,
are now automated. This means less makeready time and less waste so more
jobs can be run more quickly with great results. The SM74 can be operated
by just one pressman, which keeps labor costs down.
The SM74 can print up to six colors on 15,000 sheets of 50x70cm (28")
paper per hour. Front-and-back jobs can be printed in a single pass with
perfect registration on each side of the paper. "Our customers are
going to like this press," says Vincent. "While they may not
ever see it at work, they will have more printing options, their materials
will look great, and they’ll like how we’ll keep their prices
down."
