Purchase Helps Vincent Expand Nationally and Nearly
Doubles Size
Columbus, Ohio; June 29, 2006—Vincent Direct, LLC, a leading direct
marketing firm providing creative solutions for graphic design, printing,
mailing, fulfillment and e-commerce, announced today the completion of
their purchase of Watson Publications—a Florida national special
event publications company.
Watson Publications is the largest domestic publishers of souvenir magazines
for the professional golf industry and other spectator sports publishing
over 50 four color publications annually for the PGA, LPGA and Champion
tours.
The purchase of the sports publications company is a strategic move by
Vincent to integrate vertically which allows Vincent to now both publish
and print their own product. The purchase of a publisher by a printer
is a progressive move within the printing industry.
“We’ve partnered successfully with Watson for ten years so
this purchase is a natural step in our growth strategy. Vincent has provided
regional printing previously for Watson and will now be handling the printing
for all tournament publications nationally. Watson’s customers will
benefit from additional services such as direct mail and other tournament
related printing.
